Resource Allocation for D2D Communication Underlaying Cellular Networks: A Distance-Based Grouping Strategy

Device-to-device (D2D) communication with direct terminal connection is a promising candidate for 5G communication, which increases the capacity of cellular networks and spectral efficiency. Introducing D2D to users (CUs) will increase system capacity, CUs provide reusable channel resources (DUs). However, sharing between DUs lead cofrequency interference affect quality user terminals. As means improving spectrum utilization solving problems, one-to-many model established in networks. Through analysis, correlated their distance from one another. Considering different at distances, an algorithm resource allocation based on grouping proposed. With this algorithm, reuse within reasonable group, be minimized. The improved particle swarm optimization used solve optimal power, achieve maximum transmission rate system. Simulated results show that significantly improve throughput performance while also lowering computational complexity enabling whole have better quality.
